Volkswagen Company unveiled Polo R WRC Street limited version

The fastest and powerful Polo R WRC Street supermini model has got a tuning package from Wimmer Rennsporttechnik. Their engineers proved that this car can be even more powerful and improved the power almost twofold. Totally, the tuning version delivers 420 horsepower while the standard model delivers 220 horses. To make it possible, the carmakers reworked a turbocharger and a pressure pump, installed a stainless steel sports exhaust pipe. They also provided some changes in intercooler and ECU software. Due to the done job, 2.0-liter engine generates 480 Nm of torque.

Wimmer Rennsporttechnik tuning program stage 4 at the price of 10 200 euros for one of the 2500 Polo WRC Street version, manufactured by Volkswagen, increases the top speed of the car to 280 km/h point. For those who want to invest even more money in your four-wheeled friend, Wimmer can offer a set of 17-inch OZ wheels, KW coilover suspension and an air-filter K&N.
