Volkswagen company unveiled electric concept I.D. Concept

After a series of intriguing announcements, German manufacturer Volkswagen has officially unveiled new conceptual electric hatchback I.D. Concept. The prototype is equipped with an electric power plant, and its public presentation will take place at the Paris Motor Show. Representatives of the German auto giant said that the concept prototype of electric I.D. Concept is a forerunner of the production model. The new electric car will make its debut on the world market in 2020. Plus, new electric cars of the company Volkswagen will be based on the upcoming novelty.

The futuristic prototype Volkswagen I.D. Concept is a hatchback, equipped with an electric motor generating 125 kW (168 hp) and a set of batteries, which provide a cruising range from 400 to 600 km on a single charge (according to the manufacturer).
