Revised Volkswagen Golf of 2017 model year officially presented

German company Volkswagen has officially unveiled an updated family Golf of 2017 model year. The car did not receive major changes in appearance, but it has got a serious revision of the technical equipment. Sales of the novelty will start in late 2016 – early 2017, but the price and modifications of the model has not yet been disclosed.

Updated Volkswagen Golf of 2017 model year (seventh generation) received only cosmetic changes in the design. The car received changed bumpers and headlights, regardless of the version and equipment, taillights will be always LED. Plus, adaptive cruise control radar was removed from the lower air intake; it was hided under the company logo on the grille.

As for the technical equipment, updated Volkswagen Golf of 2017 model year received all-new 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine TSI Evo producing 150 hp (250 Nm of torque). Modification Golf GTE Performance can boast of a capacity of 245 hp. Also new 7-speed robotized gearbox with two clutches, which will gradually replace all 6-step transmissions DSG, has been developed for the new vehicle.
