Prototype of updated Volkswagen Golf R hides new “face” under camouflage

New pictures of modified Volkswagen Golf R appeared on the Internet. In can be seen that the prototype of updated model hides under camouflage restyled bumpers and new LED lights with tail lights. Interior of the car will not change, except for the infotainment system with a larger 9.2-inch touch screen. Besides, the novelty will receive a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel Active Info Display which is available on Passat model.

Also we can notice wires coming from under the hood into the cabin, measuring instruments on wheels and a computer device in the cabin. All this hints at upgraded 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo engine.
