2018 Volkswagen Virtus – Brazil brother of the new Polo sedan (part 2)

The interior of the new Volkswagen Virtus (Volkswagen Polo Sedan) is completely borrowed from the European Polo hatchback. The second row of the four door car is more spacious and the luggage compartment is able to accept as much as 521 liters comparing with 460 liters of the previous Polo generation.

The top package of the new Virtus will please owners with a virtual Active Info Display and 10.25-inch full-color screen, an advanced multimedia system with an 8-inch color touch screen. As well as adaptive cruise control, dual-zone climate control, keyless access, a semi-automatic Park Assist, an automatic braking system in urban driving conditions with pedestrian detection, a panoramic roof with a hatch, and stabilization system. The basic version will get a multimedia with a 6.5-inch screen, air conditioning and a minimum of electronics.

The basic four-cylinder atmospheric 1.6-liter under the novelty’s hood generates 110 horses and 155 Nm jointly with 5-step MKPP. More powerful turbocharged three-cylinder 1.0 TSI paired with a classic automatic transmission can deliver 115 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque.
