VW T-Cross will enter the market in 2018

Volkswagen T-Cross is a new subcompact crossover focused on the functionality. Presumably, its debut will take place at the Geneva Motor Show in the spring of 2018. The sales in Europe will begin in summer.

The closest relative of the new crossover will be Seat Arona. They will have similar dimensions and technical stuffing. It is expected that the length of the Volkswagen novelty will not exceed 4200 mm, the wheelbase will be 2560 mm, and the luggage compartment capacity will make about 400 liters. The ground clearance will be increased in 15 mm comparing with Polo version. Basic car’s package will receive front McPherson and rear semi-independent beam while four-wheel drive modifications will get a rear multi-link suspension. The power unit is presented by petrol 1.0 TSI (95-115 hp) and 1.5 TSI Evo (150 hp), as well as diesel 1.6 TDI (95-115 horsepower). The available transmissions are five or six-step mechanical and seven-band robot DSG.

The compact T-cross SUV will receive adult equipment including an adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function, a front-collision warning system, blind spot monitor and tiredness recognition system, and a parking assistant.
